About the Owner

Erica Laaker, LMT has been involved in the massage industry for over 15 years. At age 14, she began suffering from Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. When she received massage for the first time, her entire world changed. At that moment, she knew she needed to provide the same relief to others. 

Creating a Treatment Plan

You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. Our goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term. 

Sharing Knowledge

Communication is key. We need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, We will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes, those who sit or stand for long periods of time, and helps manage chronic pain conditions. 

 

Swedish

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it increases oxygen levels in the blood and improves flexibility in the body. 

 

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy involves the applied pressure to painful, sensitive areas, known as trigger points, to alleviate the pain on site and in other areas of the body. 

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.  

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)

PNF is a stretching technique utilized to improve muscle elasticity. It has been shown to have a positive effect on active and passive range of motions. This technique is beneficial for those recovering from an injury or surgery, but is also a great modality for anyone just looking to improve their flexibility.
